Office Club members will have their 2015 Essentials Range catalogues enriched with engaging digital experiences through the introduction of augmented reality, including the option for a bespoke interactive front cover.
Merchandising Manager Allison Fishlock explains: "Where the icon appears on pages in the catalogue users can download a free app to their smart device and then simply point their device at the page and view additional animated information and videos supporting the products. With some products and technologies the printed page cannot do justice to the features and benefits, augmented reality allows endless additional information to help the user make the right product choice."
In addition to additional product information, dealers have the option to add personalized videos, information and links to the front cover of their catalogues. "It works in exactly the same way" explains Allison Fishlock, "when the user scans the front cover with their smart phone they can be taken off to a dealers own website, videos and special offers – Unlike the printed page, dealers can update their linked information throughout the year, keeping it current to the user throughout the catalogues lifespan."
