Australian Office Products Group, Office Brands, have announced the first Initiative branded product has come off the production line, following the signing of a licensing agreement with Integra Business Solutions in May 2016.
Initiative Office Paper will be the first product to be available to Office Brands dealers with the group estimating an annual volume of 5,000 tonnes, equivalent to 2 million A4 reams. In addition to paper, shredder, laminating machines and cleaning products will also be available to Office Brand dealers and are incorporated in its 2017 Business Supplies Catalogue.
The strategic alliance has enabled Office Brands to use registered trademark ‘Initiative’ within Australia as its new own brand. This alliance will also see businesses further strengthen their positions within the UK and Australian OP sector.
Office Brands CEO Gavin Ward, comments, “The Initiative brand is part of a core strategy that will provide a real point of difference in the market for our members across the breadth of our various brands. It will also provide us with greater options for sourcing, both through local and international partners. Across 2017 we will be substantially increasing the range.
