New trend for quality sees Dynamic sales increase

A shift in customer buying patterns is said to be helping Dynamic Office Solutions grow its UK presence in the office furniture and seating sector.

A swing to better quality products has been a contributory factor is the increase in Dynamic sales profile over the past year. This change in consumer buying is defined by big increases in ergonomic, posture and feature rich task and executive seating as well as a move towards more efficient bench and height adjusting desking.

For example, Dynamic's sales growth in the Posture sector has been +38 per cent and +45 cent in the Air Sit/Stand desking brand in the last 12 months.

Carl Verlander, MD said, "there has been plenty of media coverage about the benefits of bench and sit/stand desking and more functional and supportive seating.  That talk is now translating into hard sales for us.

"Our dealer customers have embraced the message and are selling quality more effectively.  Their end-users appear to have understood the investment, comfort and efficiency benefits these products represent."

According to Dynamic, the trend has been fuelled by poor experiences created by some cheap products that do not deliver on quality or performance. Consumers have been disappointed and are now prepared to consider investing in quality to provide longer term satisfaction.

Carl added, "the benefit of all this is that our customers are reporting increases in sales values, and profit, as they sell the benefits of quality to their end-users."

Dynamic has workshops and training modules to help dealers sell quality. The Furnology Academy is in place to support and reward dealers who participate.
