• NEMO member Michael Morgan hosts charity night for Wales Air Ambulance

        • Welsh dealer and NEMO Group Chairman Michael Morgan helped raise over £26,500 for the Wales Air Ambulance by organising a ‘Sky’s The Limit’ charity night in conjunction with local steel Frame Building Company Shufflebottom Limited.

The Wales Air Ambulance provides emergency air cover for those who face life-threatening illness or injuries. It is their mission to aid the relief of sickness and injury, and the protection of human life, by the provision of an air ambulance service across Wales. The service runs entirely on donations and the publics support to keep the helicopters running and has three, soon to be four, helimed crews based in North, Mid and South Wales.

Michael Morgan said, “as a long standing customer of Morgan & Morgan we recognise the vital work the Wales Air Ambulance does for Wales and it is important we continue to support this service. We were more than welcome to help raise the funds, and hopefully this will inspire other local companies to do the same.”

The donation was collected during the charity night, hosted by Kev Johns MBE, which saw local businesses bid on various sporting and political memorabilia, and even miscellaneous items, such as a Mystery Prize that reached £3,500.

Morgan and Morgan, together with Shufflebottom, have also recently finished work on a new, state of the art base for the Wales Air Ambulance, with Morgan and Morgan supplying all the interior furniture and fit out.
