• Midwich creates ‘unique’ new division

        • Midwich has announced that it has re-structured its Document Solutions division to create a division ‘unique’ to the Group and the wider industry. The new division will aim to enhance Midwich’s value add, and strengthen the company’s position in the document solutions space.

          As part of the re-structure, Heidi Lucas will become Divisional Manager of the Document Solutions team, overseeing the Business Management, Document Solutions Account Management and Sales Specialists teams. The closeness of the three teams in the past has been essential to the success of the division and Heidi’s appointment means that they will work even closer under the management of one individual. Tressa Whitby also joins the division, in a role which is both new to Midwich and unique to the channel. As Vendor & Strategic Account Development Manager, Tressa will work closely with Heidi to understand vendor and customer requirements and proactively align activity to further develop distribution’s value.

          Stuart Mizon, Divisional Director said, “our vendor partners have been at the forefront of our mind when creating this new structure, the new division evolved solely for the benefit of our vendors and customers, and further strengthens our position as a truly ‘trade only’ distributor. This has also created opportunities for internal staff to step up and enhance their development within our business. There are 26 highly knowledgeable, expert employees in the team, specialising solely on document solutions, and we look forward to our exciting opportunities ahead.”

          The trade-only distributor has also announced that Pete Webb has moved internally to join the Security Sales Team. Pete has been with Midwich since 2000 in a variety of roles across the business, including Print, ProAV, Custom Install, Retail & Etail.
