Midshire has taken home the award for Best Technology at the Talk of Manchester Business Awards (TOMs) 2017. Taking place at the Mercure Piccadilly Hotel, last Thursday (30th November), the gala dinner was attended by over 500 businessmen and businesswomen to celebrate outstanding organisations in the North West.
Last year at the TOMs, Midshire won Best SME Support company for its efforts in caring and nurturing for start-up businesses across the UK. The company also won Best Technology Product for its hosted desktop solution, Desktop Monster.
Julian Stafford, Managing Director at Midshire said, “this is the second consecutive year that the collective efforts of everyone at Midshire have been honoured with such a prestigious award.
“This win confirms Midshire as one of the leading managed print service and IT providers, not only in the North West but nationally. Midshire’s growth and quality of service is guaranteed to go from strength to strength following the strategic acquisition by Sharp, the global electronics giant in July this year.”
At this year’s event, TOMs attendees had the opportunity to enter a fundraising prize draw for children’s cancer research charity, Kidscan. A total of £2,715 was raised, and will help find children under the age of 18 cancer treatments less hostile to their developing bodies.
