• Konica Minolta responds to customer demand with Objectif Lune

        • Konica Minolta has responded to customer demand for effective, efficient and flexible ways of producing and distributing business communications, with a new Objectif Lune partnership.

          The company has enhanced its real-time, personalised SMS cloud offering and developed a method to distribute business communications with its Cloud SMS platform, allowing users to send real-time, personalised, communications via text. The platform can be integrated into Objectif Lune’s PlanetPress Connect.

          Through this new integration customers can create workflows to automatically distribute their communications, as well as more traditional methods, removing the need for manual intervention.

          Konica Minolta’s Cloud SMS platform, 123-TXT, together with Objectif Lune’s software, will offer additional functionality and improve workflows that use traditional methods such as post and email.

          Andy Emery, Pre-Sales Manager, Global and Enterprise, Konica Minolta said, “a 22 per cent open rate is considered good for emails, but 98 per cent of text messages are read and, on average, within five seconds of receiving them. This translates into faster communication, which in turn translates into quicker processes and a much more efficient business.

          “That is why there is a growing demand for additional ways for businesses to communicate to customers and suppliers. In the digital age customers want information at their fingertips, and as soon as it becomes available. With this solution, we can make information available to the right person at the right time on the right device.”

          The partnership also offers users additional communication output options. That includes; document retrieval notifications where an automated branded tiny URL web link to a SMS message enables documents to be easily and quickly retrieved and viewed, and document delivery notifications that avoid the issue of missing documents by letting users know when their document has been delivered or processed.
