Integra announces retirement and new Purchasing Director

Integra Business Solutions Ltd will bid farewell to its longstanding Purchasing Director, Neil Basham, when he retires on 28th June. Allison Fishlock, former Head of Merchandising at Office Club, will subsequently be joining Integra on 3rd June 2019 as the group's new Purchasing Director.

Neil joined the group in 2006, having formerly been Managing Director at Europa Office Ltd, and has been pivotal to Integra's success over the last 12 years. Neil will also relinquish his role as Chairman of the BPGI EU Purchasing Council, a position he has held since 2009, and through which he has helped to expand the consortium's purchasing portfolio.

Aidan McDonough, Integra's CEO said, "Neil will be greatly missed by everyone at Integra. He has been instrumental in the growth of the group and is highly respected within the industry. I would like to take this opportunity of thanking Neil for his continued loyalty and commitment to Integra and wish him well in his retirement."

Neil said, "I have worked directly or indirectly with Integra and BPGI since 1996. In that time, I have had the privilege to work with some outstanding individuals and teams both inside and outside of the business. I have thoroughly enjoyed their company and have greatly valued the loyalty and support I have been given over the years. I will miss working with the team at Newport and the Integra Board, but the Spanish sun is calling. I am delighted to be able to hand over to a well-respected and trusted successor who we already have the pleasure of working with through BPGI."

Allison has a wealth of experience having been within the industry for over 28 years. Allison began her career as a Product Manager for an OP Wholesaler moving to Office Club in 1998 as the group's Marketing Manager before taking on the role of Purchasing Manager and in later years being responsible for both areas as Head of Merchandising. Allison also sits on the Purchasing Council for BPGI and is very familiar with the vendor community.

Aidan said, "I look forward to welcoming Allison to the team and to working with her as we look to further strengthen our position in the industry and the groups purchasing portfolio. Allison brings with her extensive knowledge and an enthusiastic outlook to developing our services and most significantly our diversification programme."

Allison said, "I am delighted to be joining Integra and working with the team to help further develop Integra's purchasing solutions for the benefit of both members and the group's key partners. I also welcome the new opportunities the role will undoubtedly bring."

Of Allison leaving Office Club, Toby Robins, Chief Executive of Office Club added, "Alli leaves with the good wishes of her friends and colleagues with whom she has worked for many years and our gratitude for the significant contribution and commitment given to Office Club. Helen Price will continue as the primary contact for the Office Club vendor community whilst working closely with Tina Russell from NEMO for BPGI and wholesaler contracts.

"Meanwhile Office Club continues to develop relationships with NEMO, having already identified suppliers, services and marketing offerings that will swiftly deliver ongoing benefits to the members of both groups in this exciting new era of collaboration. We look forward to sharing details of these benefits with our members over the coming weeks as we jointly work on a plan to roll out the initiatives."
