Ingram Micro UK and Comms-care have announced the launch of configuration services to the channel with dedicated Comms-care engineers on site, enabling a higher level of service.
Ingram Micro and Comms-care provide a range of configuration services from a purpose-built facility in Crick, Northamptonshire. Their team of experienced engineers offer a variety of value added services, covering everything from the application of straightforward customer provided configuration, through to complete design and testing for ‘greenfield’ installations.
The configuration centre has a work space in excess of 4,000 square feet and is housed within the 275,000 square feet of Ingram Micro Logistics & Distribution Centre. Here, staff can handle projects with high security, temperature controlled environments and protection against Electron-Static Discharge.
Matt Sanderson, Ingram Micro UKI MD said, “we already had a successful configuration business, so after the acquisition of Comms-care it was only a matter of time before both joined forces. In doing so we have been able to up skill our configuration centre which now has dedicated Comms-care engineers on site enabling a higher level of service through improved capabilities, where previously this was limited. At Ingram Micro we understand that deciding on the right IT services for your business is a crucial decision, and now we can offer our channel partners more access to experts who have extensive knowledge in this area.”
Core configuration services include, image deployment, networking, switches and routers, server services, large CPE configurations, complete reach build and deploy, and asset tagging & management.
