Ingram Micro Inc. and Evolis, a specialist in plastic card personalisation systems, have announced a new distribution agreement. Ingram Micro will now distribute Badgy card printers to its reseller network in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Badgy is a solution allowing the end-user to create and print personalised plastic cards within a few minutes.
These turnkey solutions are suitable for Ingram Micro resellers, including customers from local authorities, schools, associations and retailers to SMEs.

The plastic card printer Badgy is the entry level product of the France-based group Evolis. In 2017, Badgy registered a 20 per cent growth in the IT distribution market in the EMEA region. The solution targets small companies, institutions and associations and is sold with card design software Badge Studio, a card template library and a starter kit containing a color ribbon and blank PVC cards. The partnership program with Ingram Micro covers the two printer models Badgy100 and Badgy200.
