Industrial Inkjet to target new OEM customers at Drupa

Industrial Inkjet Ltd is looking to expand the customer-base for itself and Konica Minolta at Drupa in Dusseldorf, Germany, from 31st May to 10th June.

Drupa visitors can look forward to gaining technical advice and guidance on the use of inkjet printing from a team of IIJ's staff based at Konica Minolta's booth. Current market segments in which IIJ is helping customers include direct-to-product printing, packaging, security printing and high-speed commercial printing, including labels.

John Corrall, Managing Director of IIJ said, "Inkjet is expanding rapidly into new markets and applications, and each of these brings their own new requirements. Any potential OEM component business in the West will be handled by us at drupa. From experience, we are likely to find at least 200 new OEM customers for Konica Minolta at the show. We are sure that these customers will represent new market opportunities that in 5 or 10 years will have become mainstream."

Typical IIJ customers currently range from niche integrators, manufacturers, printers, packaging companies and blue-chip global brands, as well as ink suppliers. Its company covers the design, implementation, production and servicing of production inkjet systems and is an official sales and technical support centre for Konica Minolta industrial inkjet.
