HSM Chief Executive Hermann Schwelling
German office equipment manufacturer, HSM, is preparing for this year's Paperworld with its slogan ‘Great Products, Great People’ and the appointment of Hermann Schwelling as their new sole Chief Executive.
Following the resignation of former Chief Executive, Matthias Wochner in December, HSM are looking to safeguard and continue the business development of last year with the new appointment and a reshuffle. The departments of sales and marketing, and service and finance have been divided into separate areas to improve efficiency and professionalism, with leading new positions being filled internally.
Hermann Schwelling said, of his predecessor, “Matthias Wochner has been a highly dedicated member of HSM for many years. We thank him for his long-term and excellent cooperation and wish him all the best in his self-employment.”
With this latest news, HSM are looking forward to appearing at the Paperworld tradeshow, starting on Friday in Frankfurt (30th January-2nd February), showcasing its ‘best’ document and electronic data carrier shredders.
The new Pure range will be a key focus for the show with powerful cutting heads and motors, quiet operation, and energy management. The new range features a pressure-sensitive safety element, lifetime guaranteed cutting rollers, and eight models of different sizes and capacities, with the option of a higher security P-5 cross cut model.
Other devices to be showcased at the event will include the HSM SECURIO C14 that can destroy 500 sheets with an automatic feeder and shred credit cards, plus the HSM SECURIO P-line, which is to be launched later this year, with 40% higher performance and high-resolution touch-screen display. Joining the line up will be the new HSM Powerline HDS 150 compact hard drive shredder which breaks digital data into recyclable narrow strips, impossible to recover, and can handle up to 210 an hour with a standard AC power socket.
To celebrate their product launch, HSM have set up a cashback promotion for chosen devices which customers can access via their portal, with retailers being given a marketing package to use the offer on their own websites.
