• Fujifilm launch upgraded series for graphic display printers

        • Showing at FESPA Digital 2016 in Amsterdam, Fujifilm have released the new Acuity Select 20 series, replacing the existing Acuity Advance Select Series, with eight new models.

Following on from the success of the Acuity Advance, the latest range will continue providing near-photographic image quality, print speeds of up o 33.6 sq. m per hour, and produce a wide variety of applications on a range of substrates up to 50.8mm thick.

The new printer series is available now and offers additional features including:

Print Quality: option of using light cyan and light magenta for fine art or photographic images

Productivity: pneumatic pin registration system delivers quick and easy media loading and an optional automated pinhead maintenance system improves productivity further. Plus, UV lamp technology for thinner, more sensitive media to be printed.

Vacuum System: improved high-pressure vacuum system for easy loading of media.

Mike Battersby, Marketing Manager at Fujifilm said, “the Acuity range has established a deserved reputation for the best print quality available. In keeping with that tradition, the Acuity Select 20 series has been designed with a focus on quality, versatility, reliability, and ease of use.”

The news series is available in three channel variations in both standard (2.5mx1.25m) and X2 (2.5mx3.08m) print-bed sizes with a roll option. It will be targeting graphic display printers who need high quality on both rigid and flexible media, and speciality and industrial printers currently using analogue printing technologies and want an easy way to switch to digital printing.
