• ECi to host best practice workshops for copier dealers

        • Industry experts will share best practices, standards and measurements for service organisations

ECi Software Solutions Ltd (www.ECi.eu) recently announced that it will host a series of free workshops exclusively for copier dealers or companies who are considering adopting a more service- centric business model. As copier dealers transition to imaging experts and branch into IT services, it's fundamentally important that they ensure their core copier business is operating as efficiently as possible. In addition, access to timely, accurate information is key to making good business decisions in this rapidly evolving industry.

Paola White, VP Sales and Marketing for ECi, commented, “Managing profitable contracts is critical to a service- oriented business, but that is difficult or impossible with data spread across disparate systems or paper records. Being able to predict and plan profitability so the business can maintain margins without adding too much ’cushion’ to each deal is key and our workshops will demonstrate what is possible and how it can be achieved.”

Gary Lavin and Mike Kirkpatrick will discuss the important benchmarks that a well-run copier company can achieve, how to compare a company’s performance to ‘best of breed’ dealers and how to come up with a solid number for the cost of missed opportunities. They will also discuss the impact of social media and how tools like the Net Promoter ScoreSM affect business.

Workshop dates and venues are as follows:

          • Tuesday 22nd September: Hilton London Euston, Upper Woburn Place, London, WC1H 0HT

          • Wednesday 23rd September: Holiday Inn Leeds, Garforth Wakefield Road, Leeds, LS25 1LH

          • Thursday 24th September: Red Cow Moran Hotel, Naas Road, Dublin 22

Places are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis and can be booked at the ECi e-automate® website ecieautomate.co.uk
