Duplo is celebrating early success at drupa 2016 following the sale of a Multigraf Touchline CF375 creaser/folder that was agreed on the bus heading to the Messe Duesseldorf.
Duplo customer and London digital printing company, Clicks Print, signed up for the system to replace an aging creaser/folder, and looks forward to benefitting from enhanced efficiency, ease of use and automation of job changeover.
Alan Rigglesford, Managing Director of Clicks Print said, "this is a real upgrade for us and it will definitely reduce our bottlenecks. We started talking to Duplo about a month ago and had a demonstration of the Touchline at their UK showroom. I was delighted to inform Peter of our decision to invest this morning as we travelled to drupa."
Duplo has been the UK distributor for the Swiss-made Multigraf creasing/folding technology for many years. The Touchline CF375 is noteable for its top-feeding capability, which means that an operator can concentrate on other tasks while creasing and folding takes place.
Peter Jolly, Managing Director of Duplo UK added, "in keeping with our ethos of Automated Precision, the Touchline CF375 takes the labour out of creasing and folding. It's also highly versatile and very easy to use. Clicks Print is an innovative company and it has been a pioneer in the UK market in taking our Layflat technology for photobooks. What it will gain from investing in the Multigraf Touchhline is workflow efficiency and far more effective use of labour."
Under the theme, 'faster, smarter, better', Duplo International will be demonstrating its portfolio of bookletmakers, saddlestitchers, collators, multifinishers, binders, folders and duplicators. There will be a host new products on show and a linking up with print finishing systems on other stands including the HP, Konica Minolta, Ricoh and Xerox stands.
