Midshire Business Systems has successfully secured official print partner status with Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council for a four-year term. The company is this year celebrating its 25th year in business.
Midshire was awarded the contract as the sole contractor to supply and maintain multi-functional equipment across the borough council. Based just five miles from the Midshire Midlands office, the Dudley MBC contract commenced on the 1st April 2015.
Midshire MD, Phil Powell comments:"I am pleased to announce that Midshire Business Systems has been successful in winning the Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council tender for the supply of multi-functional photocopiers.
"Dudley MBC's decision to select Midshire, not only confirms our ability, in conjunction with Sharp, to supply quality products at competitive prices, it also demonstrates the excellent service and backup provided by the people who manage and look after the contract in our service, sales and accounts departments."
Midshire has worked hard to ensure that Dudley Council continues to receive the highest quality service and maintenance. With dedicated service staff employed solely to maintain the Dudley base, current machine up-times are recorded at over 99% and this highlights the proactive approach of the Midshire service team, who was recently shortlisted in the Service provider of the Year category at the Midlands Business Awards 2015.
Kevin Meredith, Midshire Account Manager for Dudley Metropolitan Council explains: "Midshire now goes beyond simply supplying printing and copying equipment. As the working environment continually changes, new fleet management software, such as PaperCut proves invaluable for controlling and managing a multiple machine installation and provides organisations with functions such as print release and print quotas. This can really help large organisations save money and reduce print waste.
"I've really enjoyed working with Dudley MBC, implementing new software and procedures and I look forward to working with them for a further four years."
Considerable growth over the last three years has seen Midshire open two further regional offices, turnover exceed £25 million and staff numbers increase to over 220.
