DSales new Develop colour systems support mobile working

DSales (UK) Ltd, the UK distributor for Develop range of multifunctional document imaging systems, has launched the ineo+ 308/368, fully equipped to support mobile working habits and optimise document workflows. This makes printing and scanning simple and easy from tablets and smartphones.

Both colour systems feature NFC (Near Field Communication) pairing, authentication, touch to print, and touch to scan. Google Cloud Print and WiFi Direct are also optional features. This frees mobile workers from the need to return to a desktop PC for printing or scanning jobs, allowing web pages, PDFs or photos to be printed straight from a mobile device to save mobile workers time and inconvenience.

Additionally, Develop's award winning ineoPrint app is free to download for both Android and iOS mobile operating systems for easy connection to the MFP by the simple scanning of a QR code app directly from the MFP touchscreen.

Operation is simple using the nine-inch touchscreen that supports functions such as drag & flick and allows users to finger-swipe their way through the menu, while pop-ups ensure users will not get lost in any submenus. Since the full-colour display is as big as a tablet PC, it is easy to read, clearly arranged and allows users to see all the functions they need in one go.

Jonathan Whitworth, Managing Director of DSales (UK) says: "More and more office workers are using mobile devices for business and no longer wish to be anchored to a desktop computer. These new ineo+ colour systems support the new mobile working patterns, with a host of features designed to address the growing 'Bring Your Own Device' trend."

The ineo+ 308/368 have colour output speeds of 30 and 36ppm respectively, with a broad range of media supported. This means almost any kind of document can be printed in house, including onto thick card up to 300gsm in weight. All paper formats from A6 to SRA3 can be used and users can even print banners of up to 1.2 metres in length. In addition, numerous optional finishing functions allow the ineo+ 308/368 to be equipped to suit specific requirements.

The ineo+ 308/368 help to optimise office workflows by cutting out manual operations. Installing i-Options enables documents to be scanned in .pptx, .docx, .xlsx file formats or archived as PDF/A files. Develop's optional software tools also help optimise document workflows. Store+find does away with time-wasting searches for misplaced documents by ensuring they can be located fast, while convert+share converts documents to the required format and sends them to any given destination. For example .docx documents can be scanned and sent directly from the MFP to Windows applications such as email, Google Docs, Evernote or sent to Microsoft SharePoint.

For environmental conservation and economic operation, the ineo+ 308/368 are designed for low power consumption. Energy reduction features include: blank pages automatically deleted; LED scanner exposure technology; 0.5 W ErP operating mode; and the dynamic Eco Timer that adapts the system's active phases to its actual operating periods.
