Andrew Critchlow, Technical Director at DSales (UK) Ltd, is hard at work training in preparation for taking part in this year's London Marathon on 28th April, in aid of the company's corporate charity.
Joining Jack raises funds for research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), an incurable muscle wasting disease that affects one in 3,500 boys. Develop's involvement came through MD Jonathan Whitworth's determination to help Jack and other DMD sufferers after meeting him and his parents Andy and Alex. Jonathan and his team have subsequently helped to raise over £300,000 for the charity.
The charity has several high-profile supporters and has strong sporting links with the linked-fingered 'JJ Salute' becoming a familiar sporting celebration, from Owen Farrell kicking at Twickenham to Sir Bradley Wiggins on the Tour de France podium amongst the many stars backing the charity.
Andrew said, "all of us at DSales are determined to do everything possible to help Jack and all the boys with DMD. Every pound we can raise for Joining Jack takes us closer to a cure."
