Ellie Childs, who was recently appointed as Head of Sales at DMSL, recently raised more than £3500 to raise awareness and money for Action on Addiction, by running the London Marathon.
Action on Addiction works to provide treatment and support for families and children, research, and campaigns. She completed the 26.2-mile course in a very credible four hours, 23 minutes and 32 seconds. You can still donate to Ellie’s fund at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Eleanor-Childs.
Ellie said, “sadly, most people know someone who is affected by addiction. It ruins lives and breaks up families, but it’s the biggest preventable killer in the UK. I was really proud to run for the charity and raise money for their amazing centres, which help people suffering from addiction and their families.”
Ellie recently stepped up to the post of Head of Sales at DMSL having worked at the company’s Sales Manager for the past two years. Her elevation is part of DMSL’s continuing drive to support resellers in growing their sales of broadband and hosted voice solutions.
John Carter, Managing Director of the company added, “Ellie is a valuable and experienced member of our team and the spirit and determination she showed in completing the London Marathon demonstrates just how well-equipped she is to take on the demands of this important new role. We are confident that she’ll do a great job in leading the team from the front and supporting our partners in addressing the big opportunities presented by fast fibre services and the massive boom we’re seeing in hosted voice.”
