Derwent is planning to launch two new ranges within the fine art paint and paper categories at CreativeWorld Frankfurt.
Following the launch of the Inktense Paint Pan Set in January 2018, the British fine art brand will add a new metallic paint set and a coloured graphite paint pan set to its portfolio during 2020.
Both paint sets are unique to Derwent and have been developed over the last twelve months by Derwent's research and development team. Derwent has worked with global creatives to launch a reflective metallic paint set which works on both dark and white surfaces in a portable pocket set of 12 colours.
Whilst the Graphitint pan set offers a blend of graphite with colour for dramatic tonal work and muted tones, suitable for moody landscapes, also available in 12 colours.
Mike Stranders, Vice President and General Manager at Derwent said, "every year, Derwent pushes the boundaries of art materials with innovation and this year is no different. We're continuing our expansion into new product adjacencies particularly the paint category, offering retailers an opportunity to grow sales with a differentiated range, which has clear benefits for the artist. We continue to lead the industry in our innovation and category management and are looking forward to launching our new products at CreativeWorld."
Also headlining the show are two new fine art paper ranges, archival cotton fibre paper that enhance the qualities and performance of the Derwent's Inktense and Lightfast pencil collections.
All of Derwent's existing ranges, including the Metallic collection, will be on display alongside their new counterparts.
Derwent will also be launching a new range of art erasers accompanied with new merchandising solutions to make the purchase decision far easier. For use with its watercolour pencils and paints, Derwent is also launching a new range of premium water brushes with easy to control water release functionality.
