Office Furniture specialist, DAMS, has launched a two-month marketing support programme to help dealers maximise their sales in the education sector during the peak months of June and July.
The initiative follows the launch of a number of new seating solutions for schools from DAMS, including the Ergos and Lotus ranges, which have been designed to offer a range of options ideally suited to education environments from primary through to university.
Explains managing director of DAMS, Chris Scott: “The summer recess is when schools and colleges carry out as much of their essential repair, refurbishment and maintenance works as possible in preparation for the new academic year in September, and that includes furniture replacement and upgrade programmes.
“As a result, there is a substantial spike in demand from this sector during June and July as customers procure their furniture for installation over the summer. Our approach is to support dealers with marketing materials to help them capitalise on this lucrative sales opportunity.”
To support dealers with education sector sales, DAMS will introduce a four-page mailer and an A4 product flyer every Monday during the campaign period, which runs throughout May and June. The new marketing materials will be loaded onto the ‘Marketing Manager’ portal on the DAMS website (www.dams.com), enabling dealers to customise them with their own company details and, where applicable, suitable NET prices.
Chris continues: “The flyers have been designed to enable dealers to carry out mass mail outs to schools and colleges quickly, easily and cost-effectively at a time when this type of customer is actively looking for furniture solutions tailored to their needs.
“It’s part of our commitment to ensuring that our customers have everything they need to boost their sales and the first mailer and flyer materials have already been uploaded onto our website so our customers can hit the ground running straight away.”
