Office furniture specialist, DAMS, welcomed over 400 customers to its 2014 Roadshow series, launching a total of 120 new products to the market at four prestigious venues across the UK.
Extended to four venues for the first time in 2014, the DAMS Roadshows visited Brands Hatch, Manchester Museum of Science & Industry, Fazeley Studios in Birmingham and the Glasgow Science Centre in September, enabling customers to meet its team face to face and see its extensive range 'in the flesh'.
The company says that the roadshows provided the ideal forum for DAMS to launch its new contract seating ranges, with the accompanying brochure and price list catalogue. The company also used the Roadshows as the perfect opportunity to launch its new Adapt II range of bench desking with a sliding desk top option and to show Bisley's extended steel storage range for 2015.
Comments managing director of DAMS, Chris Scott: "We were delighted by the turn out at the roadshows and by the very positive responses to our new products, which represent a considerable investment in extensive market research, design and development to build on the range of choice available from DAMS.
"The DAMS Roadshows have become an important part of the dealer calendar and the fact that every venue was so well attended proves that our customers find the events both enjoyable and useful.
"It's also useful for us as a company because we can take the feedback from our customers and use it to inform our ongoing product and service development."
That market-centred approach to product development has helped to drive innovation at DAMS over the past year, with the company opening a new showroom, a new upholstery department and a new recycling facility. Fabric supplier, Camira, had its own stand at the Roadshows, demonstrating the wide choice of finishes available for DAMS new made to order seating ranges.
All the company's existing products and new ranges are featured in the high quality 2015 catalogue, which was previewed at the Roadshows and still available for dealers to pre order ready for 2015
Chris continues: "Our 2015 catalogue is bigger and better than ever, reflecting the investment we have made in expanding our range and the growing demand for our products.
"We'd like to thank all the delegates that took time out to attend our Roadshows and we look forward to working with those customers again in 2015."
