Commercial triple win at Planet Mark Awards

Commercial has won three accolades at the Planet Mark Awards, winning in the Employee Engagement, Best Newcomer and Personal Achievement categories.

Commercial was awarded Planet Mark certification in 2018, in recognition of its continuous improvement in sustainability, and its commitment to ongoing, meaningful action. Those with Planet Mark accreditation commit to a minimum annual carbon reduction of 2.5 per cent. However certified organisations are already exceeding this target - they achieved an average carbon reduction per employee of 10 per cent in 2016 compared to 2015.

Simone Hindmarch, Commercial Co-founder and Managing Director said, "we are bowled over to have won in all three award categories we entered. We are particularly pleased given the calibre and range of the other businesses in the Planet Mark family, all of whom are keen to positively affect climate change."

In January 2020 Planet Mark will launch a 'Decade of Action' campaign. This involves asking UK organisations to lead the world as we enter the most important 10 years of the climate crisis. Commercial plans to be at the forefront, to share and to learn, as well as continue to build on the work it does, setting even more ambitious goals.
