CityFibre has appointed swcomms as a City Champion for four major cities in the south-west region, Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth, and Portsmouth, underlining its commitment to driving the full fibre message out to as many businesses as possible in the region.

For swcomms, the agreement is an opportunity to offer the unrivalled speed, reliability, and value of CityFibre's full-fibre to its customers in these four dynamic and rapidly-growing areas of economic activity.

Andrew Wilson, Head of Wholesale for CityFibre said, "We are pleased to welcome swcomms as a City Champion in these key locations. We have made significant investments to bring full-fibre to the south-west and want to do everything we can to give businesses the opportunity to take advantage. With its strong reputation and presence in the region, swcomms is ideally placed to help us reach our goals and make use of CityFibre's full-fibre infrastructure to deliver the bandwidth and performance that companies need to compete effectively."

Brian Lodge, Managing Director of swcomms added, "now is the perfect time for swcomms to form this strategic partnership with CityFibre and bring the benefits of full-fibre to its business customers. We're really excited about this relationship and determined to become a real champion for fast fibre communications in Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth, and Portsmouth.

"CityFibre's full-fibre services will give thousands of dynamic and ambitious businesses that are operating in these cities the opportunity to reach out to new markets and expand their horizons and potential. CityFibre has shown a real commitment to the south-west and that's something swcomms will be looking to build upon to benefit of the whole region."

In the next few months, swcomms and CityFibre will be working together to inform businesses in all four cities of the potential full-fibre brings to them, and to provide professional deployment, activation, and support services to customers.

A series of virtual webinars and events are already being planned for each location. Details will be made available soon.
