• Channel Info’s MD completes The Climb of Life

        • The Climb of Life (COL), the industry’s major charity fundraiser for the Institute of Cancer Research, took place on Friday 2nd November 2018 and Channel Info was, once again, a main media sponsor.

It was another record-breaking year, with the brave 120 trekkers raising £103,215, meaning that COL has now raised over £1million for the fantastic Institute of Cancer Research (ICR).

Channel Info’s own Jon Morton, aka Morts on Sports, took part in this year’s challenging event for the first time. Having conquered St Sunday Crag his group then scaled Cofa Pike, no mean feat, under the excellent guidance of team leader Jason Stephen from Springfield Business Supplies.

Morts is now safely back at Channel Info Sports HQ and would like to say a huge thank you to all those who sponsored him and helped raise badly needed funds to help the ICR's invaluable work on finding new cures for cancer.
