Rowe lands safely at Booby Birds sky dive

This weekend, Jane Rowe Marketing and Communications Director at Spicers, took to the skies for at RAF Weston-on-the-Green in Bicester, Oxford, for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Fourteen women took part in the Breakthrough Booby Birds sky dive. The women have raised a total of £250,000 to date.

Rowe says: "Who in their right minds would fall out of a perfectly sound plane head first, dropping to earth from 12,000 feet at 120 miles per hour for 50 seconds before the parachute opens, strapped to a man you've never met before! It certainly puts into perspective the fear and lack of control that women diagnosed with breast cancer go through on diagnosis, as you put your total faith in the experts."

Breakthrough Breast Cancer is a pioneering charity dedicated to the prevention, treatment and ultimate eradication of breast cancer. More information at breakthrough.org.uk
