UOE acquires £1.5m dealer
Universal Office Equipment, a subsidiary of UOE Holdings Ltd, has announced the acquisition of 100 per cent of the shares of Britsales Limited, for an undisclosed cash sum.
Britsales is a £1.5 million print and office supplies business based in Sevenoaks. It is described as a 'well established dealer' servicing the entire Kent region.
UOE's Commercial Director Elliot Jacobs says: “We are delighted to welcome the Britsales team to the UOE family and see it as a perfect opportunity to profitably grow the Britsales business further on the back of our low-operating cost/high service model.”
He says UOE expects to be able to reduce operational cost by as much as 50 per cent within Britsales over the coming 12 months, delivering a six figure improvement to the bottom-line. Much of these savings being achieved within the first 120 days.
