DGOS acquires WBM
DG Office Supplies Ltd (DGOS) in Manchester has just acquired a VOW dealer, WBM based in Warrington, its fifth acquisition in as many years. It is currently in talks with two other office supplies companies with a view to bringing them in to the fold.
DGOS won a number of awards in 2008 and 2009. This latest acquisition brings over £250,000 worth of turnover to DGOS and 150 new clients throughout the Warrington area, taking the DGOS Group to the £3m+ turnover mark.
Managing Director Darren Carr says: "I am extremely pleased with our latest acquisition. Warrington is a fantastic area for commerce and an area we have worked hard to penetrate. Acquirering WBM has made our job easier by fusing our current growing client base with that of WBM’s.
"Moving forward we have a clear vision of where we want to take DGOS through organic growth complimented by acquisitions as they become available. Both areas of our business are healthy and we are on point to achieve our 2009/2010 business plan."
DGOS is currently in the process of rolling out a franchise/merger model, where it takes over the daily customer service, purchasing, logistical and financial aspects of the partner company’s business, freeing up their time to do what they do best - sell to clients.
