United acquires Allen’s of Cardiff
United has completed the acquisition of Allen’s of Cardiff. The new business will trade locally as Allen’s – United. Full integration of the Allen’s customer base and business data was seamlessly imported into United’s systems in under 24 hours.
This branch now forms part of United’s National logistical platform, for the £12 million business.
The Cardiff branch is now an important 'Bridgehead' in the group’s aggressive growth plans and target to reach £30m with five years.
United‘s Managing Director Clive Sanders says he is confident that the group now offers a viable British alternative to the international corporate players whilst still providing local, personal service.
