RED BOX gets set for acquisition
RED BOX Managing Director Gordon Christiansen has announced plans for expansion,despite last year’s tough economic conditions.
He says at the end of 2009 the company uccessfully agreed a new finance structure designed to facilitate further acquisitions. "This puts us in a strong position now to acquire office supplies businesses, ideally in the London area.”
Since the management buy-out led by Christiansen in May 2006, RED BOX has successfully completed five acquisitions including Cockerel Stationery Ltd in 2009 and JPS Office Supplies in 2007.
“Our previous success acquiring and integrating these businesses as well as retaining key personnel is the driver fueling our positive growth strategy. These are tough economic times we’re trading in and continuing to invest during these times in good businesses will put us in a strong position in the future.”
