Bristol-based, Brunel Print has invested in Duplo finishing equipment, a DC-746 slitter/cutter/creaser and a 600i Booklet System, with the hope of increasing automation and retaining a competitive edge.
Having been operating in commercial print for over four years, Brunel Print's new DC-746 and 600i Booklet System aims to take the strain off of two Duplo DC-645 systems that are currently being used heavily every day.
Sue Tugman, Managing Director of Brunel Print said, "we really do push the capabilities of our equipment to the maximum, with challenging applications and high volumes. Our equipment therefore has to be robust and the output has to be spot on. The old DC-645s have performed really well and have demonstrated great reliability. Duplo has always shown itself to be a supplier that is prepared to go 'above and beyond' to support our business, so it was an easy decision to invest with them again."
The DC-746 is a multi-functional finishing solution for the high volume digital colour print environment. Duplo's 600i Booklet System combines the robust lines of a large stitching system with intelligence and added features such as A4 landscape format.
Peter Jolly, Duplo UK Managing Director added, "Brunel Print is a forward-thinking printing operation with a strong focus on creative applications that will stand out from the crowd. There are stringent quality standards in this market that Brunel must adhere to so we're delighted that it has chosen to move forward with proven Duplo finishing equipment once again."
