New print and scan devices from Brother UK, have been recognised for excellence after winning four awards from independent test-house Buyer’s Lab (BLI).
Run by Keypoint Intelligence, the BLI Winter 2019 Pick Awards recognise products that have undergone rigorous testing and durability assessment to be judged ‘Best in Class’ by independent analysts.
Brother’s X-Series professional A3 inkjet range, the L3000 colour laser series and the ADS desktop scanner line each received ‘outstanding’ accreditation in their respective categories.
The MFC-J6945DW and MFC-J6947DW X-Series models each received the Outstanding A3 Inkjet All-in-One award, with BLI praising their reliability, print and scan speeds and cost-efficiency for business use.
The X-Series range was launched in October last year to help reseller partners capitalise on the growing inkjet category and safeguard consumables revenue with its ultra-high-yield cartridges.
Aaron Hopkinson, Product and Solutions Manager at Brother UK said, “the BLI awards follow on from the great reception we’ve had from partners and customers since launching these new devices.
“The awards reinforce the high-quality and reliability of the models, giving confidence to decision makers that they’re investing in the right solution.”
Brother UK’s newest colour laser series, the L3000 range, also scooped a BLI award for Outstanding Colour Printers for SOHO printing.
The HL-L3230CDW, HL-L3270CDW, MFC-L3770CDW and MFC-L3750CDW devices each received the accolade, praised by Keypoint Intelligence’s Director of Printer and MFP
Marlene Orr, Analysis added, “despite their low cost and compact design, the Brother colour printers and MFPs we tested are loaded with productivity-enhancing features, like Brother Web Connect, which lets users print from and scan to an impressive array of popular cloud services.”
Finally, the compact and wireless ADS-1700W scanner was named as an Outstanding Portable Scanner, receiving excellent reviews for its portability, efficiency, software compatibility, colour touch screen and wireless connection.
Aaron continued, “businesses are striving to be more sustainable by digitising workflows with the help of scan technology like our ADS range, so we’re especially pleased to also be commended for our scan solutions. Our latest report into print and scanning trends, Paper-lite: Busting the myth of the paperless office, points to a clear opportunity for channel partners to supply stand-alone scan devices that integrate into customers’ print systems.”
