Brother UK is launching a new range of professional label printers, offering its partners an opportunity to increase revenue through the growing desktop label printer market.
The new QL-800 series, which consists of three high-speed models, offers users versatile and professional label printing with the capability to print in two colours, a ‘first’ for printers in this class. Users can print in red using the new DK-22251 continuous roll, as well as standard black.
Brother UK has identified several key markets for the new series, including office, facilities management, postage, retail and food preparation, as the printers support a range of applications from barcodes and shipping labels to visitor badges and address labels.
Salim Hasan, Technical Product Manager at Brother UK said, “we’re currently number one in the desktop label printer market, growing unit sales by 19% in 2016. With the launch of the QL-800 range we’re hoping to bolster that position by offering partners a truly diverse label printer portfolio which opens up plenty of opportunities for new revenue.”
The new models, QL-800, QL-810W and QL-820NWB, are designed to boost efficiency in fast-paced working environments by printing multiple labels quickly and simply. The printers also offer the option to print continuous labels or signs up to 1m in length, making them ideal for workplaces requiring signage for organisation or facilities management.
With the capability to integrate with a range of devices through a variety of connectivity options, including WiFi and Brother’s iPrint & Label app, the label printers can act as part of a network and are designed to support modern working environments, from busy shop floors to open plan offices.
Additionally, the range integrates seamlessly into existing set-ups with Microsoft Office and Software Design Kit (SDK) integration.
