Brother UK expands its mono printer range

PRODUCTS NEWS:

Brother UK has launched 13 mono laser models designed to help small and medium sized businesses improve productivity, while helping ensure IT security.

The 13 models, across the L6300, L6600, L6800 and L5000 ranges, follow its launch of its L6000 Workgroup mono-laser series earlier this year. Brother has designed the new printers to give smaller businesses access to the same enterprise-level features in models to suit their scale.

Andy Johnson, Head of UK Product Management at Brother said, "we're currently outperforming the mono laser market and with the launch of these models we're providing channel partners with a new opportunity to target small business customers. The models have been designed with customer pain points in mind – with security, cost and productivity significant challenges for their print environments, the range gives these users an enterprise-level solution at small scale.

The new ranges, targeting government, healthcare and education customers, also offer security features to help customers protect against cyber-attacks. The printers have been designed to integrate with existing business systems and current document management systems, while the Brother Solutions Interface (BSI) allows custom third-party applications to be developed for the models. They also support BYOD environments with the range including the ability for employees and guests to print directly from mobile devices.

Features:

The L6300, L6600 and L6800 ranges created for SMBs of up to 10 users, printing up to 5,000 pages per month.

Speeds of 46 pages per minute and a 500-page input tray High-yield 8,000 page toner supplied as standard.

The three all-in-ones in the L6600 and L6800 offer high speed scanning of 100ipm
