• Blake tests out digital envelopes with Ricoh at drupa

        • Envelope, paper and postal packaging company Blake, are putting their digital envelopes to the test with partners Ricoh on their stand at drupa 2016 (31th May -10th June).

Blake’s Premium Business, Office, Pure, Creative and Postfast envelopes are the only envelopes in the world to be certified by Ricoh for use in their printers and visitors to the stand will be able to see how the envelopes perform on the Ricoh Pro C7100SX, including the exciting clear and white ink capabilities.

Michael Barter, Managing Director of Blake said, “we are proud of our continued partnership with industry experts Ricoh and are delighted to be showcasing our range of digital printable envelopes at Drupa. We have worked hard to achieve and maintain our Ricoh certification after many months of collaborative product development.

“Our Premium range of envelopes passed Ricoh’s rigorous and intensive testing process in Japan and the UK and to be able to demonstrate this quality at an industry leading show is the icing on the cake for us.”

The Ricoh/Blake partnership has also led to the installation of a Ricoh C7100SX machine at Blake’s Somerset headquarters which serves as Ricoh’s UK south west regional demonstration centre. This allows Ricoh’s clients’ access to professional training and demonstration facilities and has also increased Blake’s capacity to produce in-house marketing material with special finishes.
