• Blake strengthens management team with new General Manager

        • Blake has promoted Graham Carlin to General Manager as part of its continued commitment to deliver quality and service.

          Graham joined the operations team at Blake last year, from paper merchants Robert Horne, where he had risen from the shop floor to Operations Director responsible for over 500 employees. His first challenge at Blake was to transform the distribution operation and ensure the warehouse became a centre of excellence. He did so and improved accuracy pick rates to 100 percent.

          Michael Barter, Managing Director said, “Graham has an ability to develop and train staff with patient perseverance and an eye for seeing the best in everyone. It is this skill that justified our decision to make Graham general manager after seeing his performance in transforming our operations.”

          Graham’s promotion to General Manager means he will be overseeing the day-to-day running of the business and strengthening internal processes and procedures whilst developing the ‘can-do’ Blake culture.

          Graham added, “I am excited to be involved with Blake at this time. I want to help the company be better at the things they are already good at and continue to strengthen and build the reputation they have in the industry as the leading postal, packaging provider in the country.”
