Stream TV Networks has announced its new distribution agreement with Beta Digital Media Solutions (DMS). The partnership sees Beta DMS appointed the first UK distributor of Stream TV Networks’ Ultra-D glasses-free 3D solution, and will also work closely with Signagelive and IAdea to deliver a full 3D digital signage solution, designed specifically to enhance visual displays in public areas.
The Ultra-D is propriety technology that generates a light field addressing human depth perception in a way close to seeing the real three-dimensional world. It is hailed as the only glasses-free 3D technology that delivers both a comfortable ‘real life’ viewing experience with the human eye not having to do all the work.
Mathu Rajan, Stream TV Networks’ CEO said, “Ultra-D is a great example of how 3D technology is moving on from the restrictive viewing experience that has hampered its usage in the past, to a solution that offers retailers and businesses a whole new commercial offering. Working with Signagelive and IAdea, we’ve created a solution that engages viewers, increases dwell time, and enhances product recall. We’re excited to be working with Beta DMS to get this offering to the market, and feel the company’s presence and experience within digital signage fits that bill perfectly.”
Signagelive offers a cloud-based digital signage software platform that enables Stream TV Networks to deliver its Ultra-D solution to all customers who want to add the glasses-free 3D screens to existing networks.
IAdea creates commercial grade media players and integrated displays. Its products help enhance retail, corporate communication, hospitality, and education environments by making them more impactful with the latest visual technology. The IAdea XMP-7300 4K media player is now Ultra-D compatible.
