Following strong half-year financial results, ANS secured its status as a trusted Global Azure Partner, making it one of just 41 global Microsoft Azure Expert Managed Service Providers (MSP) to have met the stringent standards of the accreditation.
The strategic decision to move away from hardware is paying dividends for the cloud service provider, ANS Group, with a 2.3 per cent gross profit increase and 6.2 per cent growth in gross margin against H1 FY18. ANS Group also improved its EBITDA performance, which accounted for 20.1 per cent of revenue compared to 19 per cent in H1 FY18.
The organisation has seen significant growth in all areas as it continues to invest in delivering advanced and innovative cloud platforms, with its cloud services margin increasing by 296 per cent, while managed services increased by 11.9 per cent.
In the last 12 months, with the capability to deliver innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and application development solutions, ANS has focused on helping customers to maximise the potential of their cloud platforms.
The company’s status as a leader in managed services has been cemented by its recognition as a Microsoft Azure Expert MSP. The global programme from Microsoft aims to highlight and promote the best-in-class Azure partners for customers to work with.
The certification recognises that ANS’ Azure customers receive continuous optimisation in spend and technology and fully audited managed services, as well as having continued access to the most qualified consultants and technical resources throughout their digital transformation journeys.
Paul Shannon, CEO at ANS said, “public cloud continues to be a strong focus for the business, but we recognise that our customers need to push boundaries and innovate.
“This is why we’ve moved towards not only migrating and building next-generation business applications in the cloud, but also enabling customers to leverage AI-infused technologies and digital initiatives to completely transform the way they deliver services to their end users.
“We’ve experienced strong growth in the first half of the year which stands us in good stead for further financial success. Our recent accreditation as a Microsoft Azure Expert MSP will only strengthen our performance further as we continue to help our customers navigate the far-reaching possibilities offered by cloud technology.”
