Altodigital appoints new Chief Sales and Marketing Officer

Independent office technology provider, Altodigital, has announced plans to grow its UK business by 25 per cent within the next 2-3 years. This includes the appointment of Mark Ash to the role of Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.

Mark brings with him 20 years of experience of working at industry leaders, including Xerox, HP and Samsung and will play a pivotal role in delivering this growth.

Mark said, "I'm delighted to be joining such an experienced team with an enviable long-standing reputation for integrity and loyalty. This will enable us to not only better serve our customers, but also add real value to our manufacturer and distribution partners."

As part of the growth strategy, Altodigital will reengineer and simplify processes, invest in the hire of new subject matter experts to complement the existing teams and refine/enhance its relationship with its manufacturers.  This will ultimately deliver improved customer service for the end user and deliver growth for Altodigital. The nationwide firm also pledged to grow its contracted device base in excess of 50 per cent whilst also expanding its suite of 'Managed Service' offerings.

James Abrahart, CEO, Altodigitalsaid, "this is an exciting time for us. We are the largest independent in the market and in the coming months we will demonstrate our renewed commitment to the market head. We are delighted to have Mark onboard and are excited to start benefitting from his extensive knowledge of the wider connected marketplace. By building closer relationships with manufacturers, we will be able to provide our customers with an enhanced service and continue to add real value to their respective businesses."

Following the acquisition of Apogee by HP, Altodigital became the UK's largest independent office and technology provider. To stay on top, the company will also build upon its commitment to its Customer Care and Sales Academy Programme which trains young people to become part of the Altodigital team.

James added, "at Altodigital we have been investing heavily in building up our training programme as we believe it is important to give back to young people and help them enter this sector. Not only do we want to provide more opportunities for young people, we also understand that they're a generation that has grown up in a tech-savvy environment, so we, too, could benefit from having them onboard."
