Advantia Business Solutions has announced that Julian Church has been appointed to work with its members on a consultancy basis with one task, to help implement Advantia’s new e-commerce marketplace solution, called MERLIN Marketplace.
MERLIN Marketplace has been developed to be available exclusively for Advantia members, allowing them to sell much more than traditional office supplies. The platform is currently being beta tested by several Advantia dealers and Julian is already working with these members to help them test and set up the system.
Steve Keen, Advantia Director said, “we are very conscious that each member is unique and has their own way of going to market. This is why we have built MERLIN Marketplace to be fully customisable for each dealer’s individual needs and this relates to everything from their customer’s on-line buying experience through to how the dealer works in their own office with their own team.”
This announcement is on the back of the statement made last month that Advantia is now a shareholder partner in Comgem, the software development business that they are working with to develop their unique B2B and B2C e-commerce solution MERLIN Marketplace.
Julian is very well known in the office products industry with over 22 years of knowledge and industry experience. His expertise includes working with office supplies dealers on business systems analysis, data strategy, system implementation and optimisation, training, web hosting, web strategy, web design and development, search engine optimisation and content management systems.
Steve added, “we are very excited to have Julian on board. He will be a great asset to our members in very practical ways working with them hands-on to enable them to harness the full power and sales potential of our MERLIN Marketplace solution.”
