Integra member, Active Office, has announced its acquisition of Glasgow based DMS Office, that forms part of its plan to become the largest independent dealer in Central Scotland.
Alan Miller, Managing Director at Active Office, believes the two businesses coming together will further strengthen the offering and service levels provided to customers.
He said, “we are delighted to be acquiring DMS Office, a solid business that reflects our approach when it comes to delivering exceptional customer value and service. This acquisition also puts us a step closer to becoming the largest dealer in Central Scotland.”
Active Office was established in 1963 and is an office supplies and interiors provider in Ayrshire. With a more recent focus on IT and Document Solutions, together with Print and Digital Media, Active has extended its customer base and success even further.
DMS Office, established in 1919 as GAH Douglas & Co, has grown over the years into a multi-million-pound business, both through organic growth and strategic mergers and acquisitions. Both family run businesses are long standing members of Integra and passionate about providing their customers with a service above and beyond.
David Sheriff, Managing Dirctor of DMS Office added, “we are all very excited about the acquisition and the potential for future growth. Active and DMS Office share many similarities but also have their unique strengths which combined will ensure a long, prosperous future for the organisation.”
